The Bermuda Diabetes Association is proud to announce the return of our most beloved fundraiser Lindo’s to Lindo’s Road Race to the 2023 event calendar.

The event will take place on March 5th, and after two years of virtual editions, we are looking forward to the biggest in-person turnout yet!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Eligibility:

Registered runners and walkers will be eligible to win prizes for:

·       Entering the event, each online registration will automatically receive one (1) entry to win one of two prizes:

·       Fundraising, registered runners and walkers will be entered automatically to receive one (1) entry for every $100 in pledges and/or donations, to win one of six prizes:

The Lindo’s to Lindo’s 10k Run and 4 Mile Walk 2023 and Bermuda DeFeet Diabetes Campaign (“the Promotion”) is only open to registered runners and walkers who are residents of Bermuda and are eighteen (18) years or older.   Bermuda Diabetes Association Board members and employees are not eligible to enter/win.  

Registered runners and walkers must provide valid and registered contact information including address, telephone number and/or e-mail address to be eligible to win.

Promotion Period Dates:

Promotion campaign begins on February 9, 2023 and ends March 5, 2023 (“Promotion Period”).  Draw for prizes on March 20, 2023.

How to Enter:

Entry for the first two categories is automatic based on online registration and fundraising.

By entering the Promotion, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the administrators, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion. At least ONE REGISTRATION IS NECESSARY to participate in the Promotion.  Each $100 in fundraising or social mediaimproves your chances of winning.

Selection of winners:

At the end of the Promotion Period, thirteen (13) Prize winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The potential Prize winners will be notified by a Bermuda Diabetes Association Representative via telephone and/or e-mail (method selected is at the Representative’s discretion). Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Rules, the potential winners will be declared the official winners of the Promotion. The drawing will be randomly conducted by Bermuda Diabetes Association according to Bermuda law. The Prizes will be awarded to the person named on the registration for the automatic participation. Any such winner agrees to participate in any public communication required by Bermuda Diabetes Association to announce the Prizes. Non-compliance with any of the foregoing may result in disqualification and the awarding of the Prize to an alternate winner.

The Bermuda Diabetes Association will announce the winners on www.diabetes.bm following the draw on March 20, 2023. Once the winner claims the Prize, Bermuda Diabetes Association shall cease to have any obligation towards such person.

In compliance with section 4B (3) of the Lotteries Act 1944:

ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY A WINNER, AT BERMUDA DIABETES ASSOCIATION’S SOLE DISCRETION, WILL RESULT IN A WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE PROMOTION, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED
