About this programme

Welcome to our Peer Support Program at the Bermuda Diabetes Association! Here, we embrace the power of community in managing diabetes.

Through engaging peer support sessions, we provide a platform where individuals living with diabetes can connect, share experiences, and uplift each other.

Join us to discover the transformative benefits of peer support, backed by research, and embark on a journey towards better health and well-being.

Our sessions are designed to offer a supportive space for participants living with diabetes who are interested in open, honest conversations with like-minded individuals, building community and living their best life. Participants will be encouraged to share their personal journeys of triumphs and challenges while considering what (and how) they want to create for themselves. Sessions are meant to promote self-awareness, emotional well-being and connection with oneself and each other. Focus will include wellness, stress management and mental health.
