Lana Woods

Lana Woods has been a Civil Servant for the Government of Bermuda since September 1, 1986.  For the last seventeen years, she has served as the Office Manager for the Department of Parks.  

Lana has been an active member of the Hamilton Lions Club since November 7, 2013. She has held numerous senior positions such as President, Director, Treasurer, Membership and Marketing Chairpersons. She is currently the Zone Chairperson for Lions Clubs of Bermuda and a Board Member of MD20-K2 Diabetes Foundation.   

Lana has received a Lions Distinguished Service Award, Lion of the Year Award, Melvin Jones Fellow Award and Club Excellency Award during her tenure as President. 

Lana is currently enrolled in the Diabetes Community Care Coordinator course through Lions District 20K2 Diabetes Education Foundation.  In addition to her commitment to serve, Lana is passionate about raising the awareness of diabetes in her community. 

Lana has a passion for people and hopes to make a difference in the lives of those around her.  Her favourite quote is, "You can't get very far until you start doing something for somebody else", a quote by Melvin Jones, the founder of Lions Club International. 

Lana and her husband are the proud parents of three girls and have three lovely grandchildren.  She enjoys travelling, reading, walking, and bowling.
